House Passes Funding for LA River

Today, the House passed the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) including a provision providing $376 million in federal funding to the Los Angeles River restoration project. Congresswoman Janice Hahn (CA-44), a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, applauded the passage of this important provision and the impact this investment will have in Los Angeles.

"Today the House passed critical legislation providing federal funding to the efforts underway to revitalize the LA River. This is exciting news for the River's advocates back home and for my colleagues and I who have made this project a priority.
